Kayla & Jose :: A Wedding to Remember :: The Historic and Beautiful Cornwall Inn
One thing I will always remember about Kayla and Jose’s wedding day is how perfectly everything fell into place. Excessive heat and strong thunderstorms threatened to create chaos for their outdoor ceremony, yet Kayla remained cool as a cucumber and trusted that everything would work out just fine. As the sky turned dark a little over an hour before the ceremony, we watched the weather radar closely, praying and hoping for the best. Our prayers were answered as the rain gradually faded and the storm passed fifteen minutes before the ceremony started. Chairs were quickly set up and guests took their seats, waiting for the long-anticipated moment to arrive.
As Kayla walked down the aisle, a beautiful display of emotion flooded over Jose (and most of the guests- yet another moment I won’t quickly forget) and as they spoke their vows, the sun started shining. It was positively the best we could have hoped for. The heat index had dropped slightly and all who were in attendance enjoyed a beautiful ceremony celebrating the love shared between a good-looking groom and his stunning bride.
Another heavy rain shower popped up during the reception but once again cleared just in time to line up, grab a sparkler or two and bid a farewell to the bride and groom. As they pulled away on Jose’s fancy motorcycle, the guests (and myself!) cheered the new Mr. and Mrs. Nice., thrilled to have been a part of their perfect day.
Kayla and Jose, it was absolutely an honor to have photographed your wedding day. I’m STILL thrilled that it turned out so perfectly. Watching you celebrate your coming together as husband and wife with your friends and family has filled my heart all the way to the tippy-top. Wishing you both all the best that this life has to offer!
