Wedding FAQs

I believe that your wedding photos should tell a story about your wedding day.  From hair and make-up, to busting out your best moves on the dance floor… and everything else in between.  You should be able to remember and cherish everything that you’ve worked so hard to create, which is why my packages are designed for every budget in mind.

WHAT’S INCLUDED?MY PROCESS

What is your wedding photography style?

I would describe my style as natural and photojournalistic.  No crazy filters, over processed images or unnatural poses.  I like to capture moments as they happen.  Your images should tell a story.  I avoid asking you do anything that doesn’t feel natural…that doesn’t feel like YOU.  Yes, we will spend some time doing posed portraits and be sure to take all the traditional family pictures your mom requests.  But I want you to be able to relax, enjoy every moment and treasure your big day. You deserve it!  I’ll walk beside you from the start of your day to the very end, capturing your joy as you put on your dress, the excitement of the first look, the laughs during your best friends toast and even the tears that slip down your cheek during your first dance as husband and wife…and you probably won’t even notice that I’m there.

Are engagement sessions included in the wedding price?

An engagement session is not built into the wedding collection prices, however it is super easy to add them into your package!

I don’t need an engagement shoot, can I skip it?

That is totally up to you.  However, I do highly recommend having an engagement session.  It’s a great opportunity for us to spend a little time together, hang out and get to know one another a little better.  It also will help you feel more comfortable on the day of the wedding, having already been in front of the camera.  It’s an awesome way to get beautiful pictures of you to share before you get married.

Do you charge for travel?

If you are within a 50 mile radius from my base of operation (Cornwall, PA), there is no extra fee added to your portrait experience.  Anything outside of 50 miles, there is a travel fee.  Contact me to request a quote for travel expense.

How long does it take for you to edit my photos?

Depending on the time of year and how busy I am, I typically deliver wedding photos between 6-8 weeks of your wedding date.  I produce wedding images to the best of my abilities and take great care to make sure your images are the highest quality possible.  I always do my best to have them in your hands as soon as possible.

Do you offer wedding albums?

Absolutely!  My clients rave about their wedding albums.  They are high quality, hand-bound, heirloom albums from a spectacular album company.   I design them for you so that you don’t have to.  All you have to do is make sure it’s exactly how you want it before you approve the design and I send it off to production.  Wedding Albums are a great way to share and remember your big day!

How many pictures will I get from my wedding day?

Depending on the size and length of your wedding, clients typically receive anywhere between 600-800 professionally retouched, high resolution files.

Is a second photographer included in your packages?

Yes! I never photograph a wedding without a second-shooter.  The coverage is amazing and the day flows so much smoother.  All the angles at the ceremony and reception are captured. It’s great to be in two places at once!

How do you deliver the photos and can I print my own photos?

Your images will be delivered to you via a personalized fancy glass flash drive.  It’s super cute and holds every picture that felt like it told a part of the story of your big day.  You can absolutely print your own photos.  A print release is included on your flash drive.  I’ll even recommend some of my favorite places to print!  However, if making your own prints feels overwhelming, you can easily add more prints or products to your package and I will take care of the rest!

How long have you been a wedding photographer?

I photographed my first wedding in February of 2011!

How do I reserve you for our wedding?

It’s super easy!  Just let me know you are ready and send me your booking deposit of $250 via PayPal or a check through snail mail.  I will then send you the wedding contract to be completed electronically.  See, it’s easy!
