A Winter Wedding Wonder:: Ryan & Kristen:: Berks County Wedding
From the moment I first met Ryan and Kristen, I knew that working with the two of them and their sweet families would be a joy. They both share a very friendly and easy going personality, which made their rainy December wedding truly beautiful.
Kristen and Ryan were both very anxious to get to the front of their home church in Bethel, Pennsylvania to say I do. As they were preparing and looking their best, the hour couldn’t come soon enough. Despite their laid back personalities, both of their emotions were set on edge as the time drew closer and closer to becoming husband and wife. I could feel their excitement grow with each passing moment. And finally, the hour did arrive. And it was beautiful! I could see on everyone’s faces as they passed one by one through the receiving line, how thrilled they were to witness the marriage of two best friends.
Time seemed to fly by after that. We dodged raindrops and fought to stay warm during the portrait session at a very stunning overlook at Blue Marsh Lake in western Berks County, Pennsylvania. Shortly after that we made our way down the winding roads to the reception, where the excitement was so palpable that Kristen gave a fist pump into the air as they were introduced to their guests. Kristen shared that her favorite moment of the day was enjoying time with her friends and family (and of course her husband) dancing the night away.
So glad to have spent the day with these two gems. It was easy to feel the love and excitement Ryan and Kristen shared on their cold, yet beautiful winter wedding day. Wishing both of them all the best as they adventure forth as husband and wife!
