Stephanie & Patrick Behm:: June 30th 2018
One of my favorite things about being a photographer is meeting and getting to know so many new people. I first met Stephanie at a wedding I photographed way back in 2014. She was one of the beautiful bridesmaids for a close friend of hers. Three years went by, and I saw her again as a bridesmaid in another wedding I had the privilege of photographing. Since I had seen her last, Patrick had asked her to be his wife. Of course I was thrilled when Stephanie reached out to ask if I would photograph her wedding too! It has been such a pleasure spending time with and getting to know Stephanie and Patrick over the last year as their 2018 wedding approached.
June 30th was probably the hottest day of the summer thus far, but everything went beautifully! The bridal party held up so well considering the heat wave that hit the east coast just in time for the wedding day. The church just north of Reading, Pennsylvania was elegant and breathtaking (and air conditioned!). All the details for their day were put together perfectly. So many friends and family had gathered to see Stephanie & Patrick become husband and wife. All of the guests could easily see that a lot of thought went into their special day. They even pulled off a special surprise for the guests at the reception. It was awesome to see everyone’s faces light up as Pat drove Steph into the reception at the Leesport Farmers Market on his shining red tractor! For those of you who don’t have the pleasure of knowing Pat…tractors are one of his favorite things (besides Stephanie of course!).
The way Patrick loves Stephanie is so sweet and endearing. You can see it in the way he looks at her, how much she means to him. I often caught Steph quietly laughing to herself because of the little things that Patrick would say. Ah, I can’t wait to see what life holds for these two! I hope you are able to enjoy looking through the pictures from this day as much as I have.
Congrats Patrick & Stephanie on a beautiful day. Wishing you a life-long, love-filled marriage!
