When I pulled up to the Lakefield Wedding venue, located only a short distance from my home, I knew that this wedding would be stunning. A tree-lined drive, two small lakes surrounded by beautifully maintained landscaping, a white, rustic barn and a stunning home featuring an inviting front porch is just what this May wedding deserved. All of details of the wedding had been well thought out and many friends and family had gathered to make sure things went off without a hitch. As the time drew near for Mackenzie to walk down the aisle to be married to her best friend, the anticipation was so great that no one even noticed the tiny rain drops that had started lightly falling from the heavens. Smiles and tears were shared as Mackenzie, looking absolutely stunning, moved closer to Willie, her arm tucked into her dad’s elbow. Emotions flooded Willie, (and everyone who saw him…including me!) and it was hard for him to hide his overwhelming joy of finally getting to marry his soul mate. What an honor to photograph such an amazing moment in time. I’m so thrilled to have captured such a fun and joyous day for these two. I can see how much they mean to one another and how much joy they bring into each other’s lives. Willie and Mackenzie, I wish you nothing but the best on ALL of your future endeavors together as husband and wife!
